Outreach at Hillside United Church
At Hillside United, Outreach is how we live our faith in the community. We support individuals and families in Fairview–Clayton Park through food security initiatives, welcoming programs, and events that bring people together. Our work is rooted in compassion, practical care, and a commitment to building a neighbourhood where everyone feels supported and included.
Programs Hosted at Hillside
Our church building is a vibrant community hub. We host several community groups that offer fitness classes, children’s programs, youth activities, and music groups that create connection, learning, and belonging for people of all ages.
Signature Community Events
Outreach supports our annual events that welcome newcomers and long‑time members alike. From Educational Sessions, Music Events and social justice issues, these gatherings strengthen relationships and celebrate community life.
Affirming & Inclusive Ministry
As acongregation, we strive to create a safe and welcoming space for all people. Through P.I.E. Day, educational sessions, and Pride Parade participation, we celebrate diversity and work toward justice and inclusion.

Fairview Food Cupboards.
Khalsa Aid
Khalsa Aid holds a foodbank for our international Students in the area every 2nd and Forth Saturday of the month.
Situated at 2107 Brunswick Street, this organization offers a variety of community programs such as a Breakfast Program, Food Bank services, Outreach initiatives, Tax Return Clinics, on-site laundry facilities, and additional resources.
Located at 6 Titus Street, this organization provides support and programs for families and seniors in Fairview and surrounding areas.
